Enrichment Opportunities

Silsoe Lower School believe in providing a wealth of enrichment opportunities for our pupils.  Please see below for a list of the extra curriculum activities we currently offer:

Premier Sports
Each term we work in partnership with Premier Sports, to provide additional sporting activities your child make wish to take part in.  These clubs will be available throughout the week either before or after the school day.  Specific details of classes available will be provided to parents at the start of each term or you can contact the school office for further details.  Bookings should be made directly at mkoffice@premier-education.com or by calling 01908 597940.

Tennis Club
​We currently offer a, on a half term cycle, tennis club for pupils in Year 3 & 4 after school on a Friday.  The club is run by a professional and very experienced coach from the Bedfordshire Tennis Lawn Association.  Specific details of classes available will be provided to parents at the start of each half term with a maximum of 20 pupils being able to participate.

Inspiring Music
The music hub for Central Bedfordshire offering music lessons during the school day.  A range of musical instruments are available such as:

  • ​Piano Lessons
  • Violin Lessons
  • Guitar Lessons
  • ​Woodwind Lessons
  • Brass Lessons

Silsoe Lower School Football Club
​Silsoe Lower School Football Club is an independently run football club by parents and volunteers.  All pupils are welcome to join, with each year group having their own team.  If you are interested in joining this club please contact the club secretary at silsoelowerfc.secretary@gmail.com.  

School Choir
Our school choir is available to pupils in years 3 & 4, all pupils are welcome, consent required via Scopay account .  This is currently held on a Tuesday, after school, between 3.30pm and 4.30pm

Dance Club
This term we are offering all years a breakfast Dance Club on a Monday morning (8.00am - 8.45am). Please contact ngdance-collective@outlook.com for further information.
