Welcome To Silsoe PTA
Welcome to Silsoe Lower School and welcome to the PTA! We are a strong fundraising committee run by parent volunteers. Every parent/carer becomes a member of Silsoe PTA when their child joins the school. Without the help of dedicated parents and staff, our events could not take place, so we urge everyone to get involved! Not only is getting involved fun, and a great way to meet other parents, but your child will also enjoy participating in events as well as hugely benefitting from the funds we raise to enrich their learning environment.

What Events Do The PTA Organise:
During the last academic year (2023/24), we hosted a fantastic Autumn Fair, school discos, non-uniform days, PTA Quiz Night, Smarties Challenge. Each year we run a Santa shop for children to buy their families gifts for Xmas, we supply teachers and the classroom with vouchers to buy supplies with along with various other events and activities.
Projects We Fundraise For:
The on-going support and incredibly generous donations received from our school families allows our children to benefit from additional resources that the school budget alone cannot stretch to. These are some of the things we have purchased in the last few years:
We also contribute each year to school trips to keep the costs down for parents and towards to any extra items requested by the school.
We are always looking for new ideas so please get in touch or come along to a meeting. You will be informed about all our exciting news and fundraisers via the newsletters which come out via email.

- Weather Station
- Window Shades for the Hall
- New Laptops
- New Books for Oak Class
- Planting for School Remembrance Garden
