Before & After School Club
We have a highly popular Before & After School Club which offers wrap around care for children attending Silsoe Lower School. We are currently not able to accommodate children from Silsoe Pre-School, although we are keeping this under regular review.
The morning session runs from 7.45am to 8.45am (breakfast is not included). Our after school sessions run from 3.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 3.30pm to 5.30pm on Fridays (healthy refreshments are provided).
A whole range of exciting activities are available during both sessions including painting, play puppets, clay modelling, a home corner, outside activities, large construction, board games, jigsaws, and computers.
Session prices are as follows which were agreed by the Governing Board in Autumn 2023.
Before School Club
7.45am to 8.45am - £5.50 per session
After School club
3.30pm – 4.30pm £5.50 per session
4.30pm – 5.30pm £5.50 per session
5.30pm – 6.00pm £3.50 per session
We currently have capacity for 40 children before school and 48 children after school.
Places have been confirmed for the academic year 2023-24 and many sessions are full.

Waiting List
We will endeavour to be as flexible as possible; however, there is a limitation on the total number of sessions available. In the event that sessions are full, we will maintain a waiting list and the following criteria will be applied (in the rank order shown) to decide the order in which sessions will be allocated:
a. Those families already using the club
b. Current Silsoe Lower School families
c. New families of Silsoe Lower School registering for the club
Any requests to defer additional sessions once places have been confirmed will be treated as a new request on the waiting list.
Bookings for the Academic Year 2024-25
In the summer term we will process bookings for the following academic year as follows:
Silsoe Lower School families already using the Club will be sent a booking form for return by Monday 3rd June 2024. Session bookings will be processed on a first come first served basis and will be confirmed by Monday 10th June 2024.
Silsoe Lower School families & children starting Silsoe Lower School in September 2024 who are on the waiting list will be sent a booking form by Monday 10th June for return by Monday 17th June 2024. Session bookings will be processed on a first come first served basis and sessions will be confirmed by Monday 24th June 2024.
Children starting Silsoe Lower School in September 2024 and children currently attending Silsoe Lower School (but not on the waiting list) will be sent a booking form by Monday 24th June 2024. Session bookings will be processed on a first come first served basis and sessions will be confirmed by Wednesday 1st July 2024.
